In the year since I decided to change cities, change men, and change careers I have been fired three times, jailed, and forced back into the classroom. I hated being an inner city high school teacher, hated spending rush hour staring at cement highway barriers stuck in traffic, and wanted green parks, nice neighbors, and new challenges.
